The two that actually matter
Aftercare on this site is general guidance, not medical advice. If something looks infected or you feel unwell, speak to a doctor or ring us — do not wait it out because a web page said it was normal.
Prices here are a guide and can change. The price for your piercing or tattoo is the one we quote you in the studio.
Who runs this site
Tattoo Shed LTD, registered in England and Wales, company number 07569886, 55 Belswains Lane, Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire HP3 9PP. Using this site means accepting what is on this page.
This site does not book anything
There is no booking system and no shop here. Nothing on this site is an offer you can accept, and nothing you do here creates a contract with us. Appointments happen when you ring 07925 225122 and we agree a time.
Prices
The figures on the piercing page are what we normally charge, and jewellery is included where it says so. They are a guide. What you pay is what we quote you before we start, once we have seen the placement, the jewellery and what is actually involved. Tattoo work is quoted individually and always has been.
Aftercare
The aftercare pages describe what we tell people in the studio, and they are written to be read while you are healing. They are general information about looking after ordinary healing skin. They are not a diagnosis and they are not a substitute for a doctor, a pharmacist or NHS 111.
Healing depends on your skin, your health, the placement and what you do in the weeks afterwards, none of which a web page can see. If you are worried about a piece we did, come in and we will look at it — it is almost always a quick fix if we see it early.
Age limits and identification
The age limits on the piercing page are ours and we apply them. Bring photo identification whatever your age. Where a parent or guardian has to be present, they have to be present for the whole appointment, not dropping you off.
We can refuse any piercing or tattoo, at any time, without giving a reason. That is not us being difficult; it is how a studio stays a safe place to get work done.
Accuracy
We keep this site current and check it, but we do not promise it is free of errors or that it is available without interruption. If something here contradicts what we tell you in the studio, what we tell you in the studio is right. Tell us about anything that looks wrong and we will fix it.
What belongs to us
The words, photographs, logo and design on this site belong to Tattoo Shed LTD or are used with permission. The mark and the name are ours. Please do not copy the site or use our photographs of our artists and their work elsewhere without asking. Linking to us is welcome and needs no permission at all.
Links out
We link to Instagram, Facebook and Google Maps, and our artists link to their own Instagram accounts. We do not control any of those and are not responsible for what is on them.
Liability
We are responsible for what we do to you in the studio, and nothing here changes that: we do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to exclude.
What this section does cover is this website. We are not liable for loss arising from relying on general information published here rather than asking us directly — which is the whole reason the phone number is on every page.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed. See also our privacy policy.
